Terms and limitations of MMG's free guides, calculators and accounts.
Free service and eligibility
MMG provides free UK home-moving information, checklists and calculators. No checkout, subscription or membership fee applies. Optional online accounts are intended for users who can lawfully create and manage them.
Information is not individual advice
Content is general educational material, not bespoke mortgage, investment, legal, tax, engineering or conveyancing advice. A calculator cannot determine lender approval, a property-specific valuation, a statutory liability ruling or an actual removals price.
You remain in control
Check the information you enter and keep independent copies of information important to your move. You are responsible for any personal text added to custom tasks and should not upload highly sensitive credentials or another person's confidential information.
Accounts and availability
Private accounts support sign-in and saved plan data where supported by the active authentication backend. Sign-in can require email confirmation or password recovery. Network, browser or provider interruptions can affect access, so exports are available for personal backup.
External services
Get a quote and links to public authorities or commercial services open sites governed by their own privacy notices and terms. MMG does not take a payment merely because a visitor follows an external link.
Mistakes, liability and consumer rights
Sources, laws and figures can change, and some calculations are approximations. MMG aims to correct evidenced material errors; nothing in these terms excludes liability that UK law does not allow to be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
Responsible operator and effective date
The sole-trader operator name, contact and legally appropriate correspondence address remain to be verified. These terms are not final until those details are provided and a truthful effective date is confirmed.
