Cookies and local browser storage
Essential account storage, guest planning data and optional tracking rules.
What is stored on your device
When requested, MMG uses browser local storage to remember a guest checklist, custom tasks, expected moving date and saved calculator settings. Clearing site data or using the site's reset controls removes those local copies. The visitor can also export private JSON backups manually.
Account authentication
Managed account sign-in can require essential session and authentication tokens stored in the browser. Those are used to deliver the secure account service requested by the visitor, not for advertising.
Postcodes, links and referrals
The moving-distance tool requests postcode coordinates from an external postcode lookup service when the visitor enters postcodes. Following a Get a quote link leaves MMG. The external quote provider may operate its own cookies and privacy policy.
Analytics and marketing choices
Google Analytics 4, advertising pixels and other optional analytics must not be enabled before the lawful consent or exemption applicable to each technology is established. No speculative cookie list or cookie duration is provided as if verified. Future preferences must distinguish essential, analytics and marketing technologies.
Changing your choice
Device-local planning data can be reset within the relevant planner or cleared in your browser. For optional trackers, if deployed, MMG will provide appropriate preference and withdrawal controls. The real cookies, provider names, retention and transfer details require a live audit before this policy can be final.
